
EXPERIENCE
March - July 2007: Buckaroo. Scott Ranch of
Pryor, Montana. Hired on for spring work. Spent all day
working off a horse. Jobs included: calving approximately
1,400 heifers, pairing out, gathering, and branding 5,000
calves in the mountains.
2005 - August 2007: Horse Trainer. Bill Thomas
Performance Horses, Saginaw, Michigan. In charge of riding
problem horses and getting reining prospects ready to show.
Summer 2000 - Present: Owner and Head Trainer.
Brindle Back Ranch, Riverdale & Edmore, Michigan. Managed a
public training facility with emphasis on colt starting and
problem horses. Other services included lessons, clinics,
and independent contracting to larger farms.
Summer - Fall 2005: Colt Handler. Rooker
Training Stable, Fenton, Michigan. Started Arabian colts
that were being prepared for U.S. Nationals.
Fall 2004 & January 2007: Apprentice Trainer.
Work underneath Byron Garwood, Spencer, Nebraska.
Recommended apprenticeship from Bryan Neubert. Emphasis on
having colts working with you to do a job.
